    Research

    2015: Undergraduate research project, University of Oxford:
    8 week fieldwork based project forming part of Final Honours School examination. Investigating the drivers of incubation behaviour in the Manx shearwater on Skomer Island, Wales.
    2014: Research placement, Cardiff University:
    6 week placement at Cardiff University Cancer Stem Cell laboratory under the supervision of Dr Karen Reed. Studied the role of APC and PTEN genes in the rergulation of intestinal epithelial cell migration and proliferation in a colorectal cancer mouse model.
    2012: Research placement, Queens University
    Short placement at Queen's University Marine Laboratory, engaged in promoting the public understanding of science and conservation through collaboration with the local aquarium.
