In-vitro testing of novel derivatives as BET inhibitors: biophysical evaluation. (March 2016 - June 2016) Structural Genomic Consortium, Oxford
The goal of this project was to test a library of small molecules potentially active against the BET bromodomain family. To do so, I expressed and purified all the proteins belonging to BET family, and performed biophysical assays, like differential scanning fluorimetry (DSF) and isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), obtaining IC50 values for the best small molecules.

Design, Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of novel HAT inhibitors. (July 2015 - March 2016) Department of Drug Chemistry and Technologies , Sapienza University of Rome
The aim of the project was to find inhibitors of Lysine Acetyltransferase 8 (KAT8), a protein involved in human non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) pathogenesis, as well as in autophagy processes.
