Background

I am from Leeds, West Yorkshire. Studied at Woodhouse  Grove School and attained A levels in physics, mathematics, chemistry and music technology. From secondary education I moved on to The University of Nottingham when I achieved a first in physics as part of an integrated masters course. During this course I specialised in medical imaging and information theory. Upon completing my undergraduate degree I started on the Oxford Nottingham Biomedical Imaging DTC (ONBI) which includes six months of intensive biomedical imaging training at The University of Oxford, two rotational projects of three months each and a three year research project all undertaken at The University of Nottingham.

Interests

My academic interests are on the subject of multi-modal medical imaging with MRI and image processing. I am a keen computational student with experience in Python, Matlab and C++.

Away from my studies I am a keen outdoors and technology enthusiast with a particular interest in live sound and technical theatre.
