My Research

I am currently in the first year of my DPhil (PhD), supervised by Associate Professor Michael Osborne in the Machine Learning Research Group at the University of Oxford and Dr Mike Bodkin at Evotec.

We are working on building a model to predict the activity of compounds from their structural and physicochemical information. To do this, we treat the function linking the compound properties to their activities as a Gaussian process. This is a flexible approach which allows us to assume no initial knowledge of the function or its parameters, learning more about the function as we train the model with new data.

You can find my code on GitHub.

I received my MSci in Chemical Physics from University College London in 2014. This was a four-year course covering Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in an integrated undergraduate and masters course.
