A number of taught modules were undertaken including Mathematics, Programming, MATLAB, Advanced Experimental Techniques, Data Management and Curation, Synthetic Circuit Design, Systems and Control Theory, Biomimetic Construction, Synthetic Microbial Communities and Ethical Legal Social Aspects in Synthetic Biology. Following on from the intensive training, two 10-week laboratory projects will be undertaken.
