This was a bachelor thesis of Petr Babor (supervised by Mgr. Cyril Brom Ph.D.) and a short continuing research, which I was part of. The result of this work was a model for controlling three embodied virtual agents in a quarrel: their movements in space, gestures, talking (via emoticons) and overall course of the "story". The movements were controlled by a new steering behaviour and the storytelling was controlled by a hierarchical state machine.

The results were published as a paper Controlling Three Agents in a Quarrel: Lessons Learnt in the proceedings of Motion in Games conferation.
