Background

I am a physicist by training, with an undergraduate masters degree from the University of Warwick, currently on the Systems Approaches to Biomedical Science Industrial Doctoral Centre. As part of this program I underwent an intense first year receiving training in statistics, bioinformatics, biology, chemistry, maths and programming. With this background I am currently in the Oxford Protein Informatics Group collaborating with UCB to investigate community detection methods on protein interaction networks with a specific focus on using this approach to interpret omics data, and investigating biases that may affect these investigations.
